August Wrap Up

This month has been quite a busy one. I’ve worked a hell of a lot because August is our busiest month and a lot of staff have left for uni etc. so I’ve been covering a lot of shifts. I went to London for a few days at the beginning of the month to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (review post here) with my best friend, where we went shopping and just general wandering and it was a lot of fun. I paid off my flights to Australia in October, so I basically had no money this month after that. Other than that I haven’t done much as I haven’t had time to do much, bar swimming occasionally and, of course, reading.

I read 19 books this month (wtf):

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz
The Iron Trial by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare (Review coming on Friday)

      1. That’s a shame cause they’re so inexpensive here. The shipping and dollar conversion is what kills you. They are a very popular snack we eat here as kids. I swear they were like a staple in our snacks for school lunches. 🙂

  1. YOU ARE SUPER HUMAN. 19 books?! Tell me your secrets! I’m very impressed. I spy some Lush products there, too (omg I’ve totally become addicted to their stuff recently!). And how exciting that you’re coming to Australia! Where abouts are you going?
